Dr. Phillip L. Gillen
A graduate of University of Illinois Veterinary College in 1980, Dr. Gillen has always had pets in his family. They now have two dogs, Ripley and Elsa, and a cat, Horatio at home. Dr. Gillen also claims the two resident office cats you can find wandering the halls of the hospital, Gabriel and Winnie. He is a member of the AVMA and Illinois VMA. His areas of interest include: Dermatology, Advanced Dentistry, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedic Surgery in dogs and cats.
Dr. Jennifer Miller-Jones
Jennifer is a U of I graduate of class 2002 and has been in practice for over 13 years. She and her husband have 5 children, 5 dogs and 1 cat. Dr. Miller-Jones is excited to practice in Lincoln and we’re confident our clients will like her as much as we do!
Kim joined LAH in June of 1999. Originally a technician for the hospital, she currently handles all of the front office duties and scheduling. While at home, Kim enjoys baking for her husband and son. She is the proud owner of two boxers, Spike and Dempsy along with 3 cats; Sebastian, Felix, and Scarlett.
Veterinary Assistant/ Kennel Manager
Debbie has been a technician for LAH since the winter of 2008. Her expertise in the human medical field often comes in handy around the hospital. Debbie spends her energy keeping up with her son and cat Mister Botie. .
Matt is our go to person. He helps in all medical assistant capacities. He has a dog Joey he helped save from Parvovirus infection. His long term plans are pursuing a career in human medicine.
Amy has over twenty years experience in the veterinarian field. She has a lot of knowledge and experience over the years and is a huge asset to our staff. She has two cats one named Ernie and one named Stewie. In her off time she enjoys Nascar, camping, and reading.
